Starting a new career as a teacher is exciting. You get to do what you are passionate about, helping to mold the minds of the students you teach. Teaching can be a very rewarding career, but it can also come with its share of challenges, from troubled students to upset parents. As a new teacher, you have a lot to take on, and it only makes sense that it might seem overwhelming. But thankfully, no matter what grade level you’ll be teaching, someone has been in your shoes before, and many of them have useful advice for novices, from how to prepare for the first day to how to handle behavior issues that arise in the classroom.
