FLF creating projects with US Holocaust Museum Teaching Fellow

Fascinating Learning Factory working on DVD project with US Holocaust Museum Teaching Fellow

July, 2009, Boulder, CO – Robin Levin, winner of a 2009 teaching fellowship with the US Memorial Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC has contracted with Fascinating Learning Factory, a Colorado 501(c)(3), to produce an interactive DVD.

“American History classes have virtually ignored the US government’s policies designed to assimilate Native peoples into the dominant white culture,” Ms. Levin says. “In contrast, Holocaust history is well documented and required in many states. Our intention is to bring curricular materials to history teachers and students, rich with multi-media links. Each story will be classroom ready to facilitate the study of these atrocities. “In 2008, Fascinating Learning Factory produced a highly successful DVD for the Eastern Shoshone tribe entitled ‘Shoshone Voices, Native Choices’. FLF understands Indian country and is the best producer for this project.”

“The opportunity to work with Robin again,” says Bunnie Strassner, Executive Director of the Learning Factory, “after our successful partnership last year is a real pleasure. We have the common goal of telling the story accurately and in a powerful and engaging way. Her scholarship and our creative team are a great combination.”
